Once you enable Tap to Pay, it will be added as a default payment method at Checkout in your Booksy Biz app.
To complete checkout using Tap to Pay:
- Go to check out any appointment, service, or product in your Booksy Biz mobile app.
- Select Tap to Pay to initiate the transaction. The screen will indicate where exactly the client should tap their card or phone.
- If you’re using an iOS device, your client needs to hold their phone/card (cards should be held horizontally) over the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol, for a few seconds until the transaction is complete.
- If you’re using an Android device, your client needs to hold their card/phone behind your device for a few seconds until the transaction is complete. Depending on the device, the NFC chip — where the client should hold their phone — may be located near the top, middle or bottom of your device.
Note: Some phone cases may impact functionality. If you encounter issues with transaction processing, please try removing the case from your device, and ask your client to do the same.
- Wait until the transaction is processed. You will see a confirmation screen in Booksy Biz.
- That’s all! Transaction funds will automatically deposit into your account the next business day.
