Tap to Pay can be enabled both in Booksy Biz mobile and web/tablet. However, you will only be able to process transactions in Booksy Biz on your mobile phone.
Note: To start using Tap to Pay, you need to have an active Booksy subscription.
To enable Tap to Pay:
- Go to Business Settings (mobile: Profile > Settings).
- Open Payments & Checkout.
- Click Tap to Pay (mobile: Tap to Pay on iPhone / Tap to Pay on Android).
- Click Get started.
- If you haven’t verified your account before, you’ll be prompted to go through the verification process. You can find more information here. If you have already verified your account before to use Mobile Payments or Booksy Card Reader, you don’t need to go through the process again.
- On the screen in Booksy Biz, you will see additional access requirements, such as NFC, bluetooth or location, depending on the device you’re using. Allow Booksy access to the required settings by clicking the option in Booksy or directly in your device settings.
- Once all the requirements have been completed, you will see confirmation whether or not your device is supported. If it is, Tap to Pay will now be enabled and you can start using it at Checkout.
