Sensitive card data includes cardholder data (CHD): primary account number (PAN), the cardholder’s name, and the card's expiration date.
It also includes highly sensitive authentication data (SAD): the card verification value (CVV/CVC) code and the data from the magnetic stripe or chip.
All card data is processed in accordance with the PCI DSS v4.0.1 security standard (the latest version of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard - a global security standard designed to protect credit card data and minimize fraud by requiring all companies that handle this information to maintain a secure environment).
For security purposes, this data is never recorded, stored, or saved by Booksy once the transaction is authorized. Personal and payment data are processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws and the business’s privacy policy.
