You can issue both full and partial refunds for all Booksy Payments transactions, including those from Deposits, Cancellation Fees, Mobile Payments, Booksy Card Reader, Tap to Pay, and Keyed-In Payments.
Partial refunds are useful for correcting overpayments, adjusting prices, or handling specific cancellation fee situations.
To issue a refund, follow these steps:
- Find the transaction you wish to refund. You can do this by either finding the appointment in your calendar and clicking the payment details row to open the receipt, or by locating the transaction in your Business Wallet.
- Press Refund.
- Choose a refund type. Decide whether you want to issue a full or partial refund. If it's a partial refund, enter the specific amount you wish to refund.
- Select Refund payment.
- Confirm by clicking Issue refund.
Your client will receive the refund in the same account they used for the original payment within 2-5 business days.
Note: A standard transaction fee applies to each refund.
