Our Online Gift Card feature allows you to easily create, sell, and manage gift cards all on one platform, providing a perfect tool to increase revenue and attract new clients.
Before creating and selling gift cards (both online and offline via Checkout), ensure you are verified to use Mobile Payments*. For details on activating Mobile Payments, click here.
*All online gift card sales will be automatically processed by Mobile Payments at our standard processing fee of 1.29% + 20p. Funds collected from online gift card sales will be deposited to your account the next business day.
How to create Gift Cards:
- Go to Gift Cards & Bundled Services Gift Cards (mobile: Profile Settings Gift Cards).
- Click on Manage Gift Cards.
- Click the plus icon in the bottom right corner.
- Add a name, an optional description, and set the price and value of the gift card.
- Toggle on the Available for online purchase switch if you want clients to buy the gift card directly from your Booksy Profile.
- Set the expiration date.
- Choose a card design.
- Note that gift cards are always valid for all services and products.
- Note that the tax rate cannot be set for gift cards, as it is associated with the services the gift card is used for.
- Click Save.
How to sell Gift Cards:
Clients with Booksy accounts can purchase online gift cards directly from your Booksy Profile using Mobile Payments. Additionally, you can also sell gift cards at Checkout when using Booksy from a tablet or computer.
